New Album Information
Manic Street Preachers hope to release their long awaited seventh studio album in Mid October. The band are currently working on tracks with Goldfrapp mixer Tom Elmhirst. As well as recording four tracks with legendary, David Bowie producer Tony Visconti, the band have just finished recording in Ireland and are compiling an album from the twenty tracks that have been completed. Working titles for the album include 'Life Blood' and 'Goodbye Suicide'. Songs titles included are:

The love of Richard Nixon
Firefight
To Repel Ghosts
Emily
Fragments
Askew Road
Solitude Sometimes Is

The band are also planning a special 10th Anniversary addition of The Holy Bible including a never released American remix, a DVD and a special show at The Astoria.

The producer working on the new
Manics album has posted on his website tonyvisconti.com informing us of the progress they have made on the new album. Five songs in three weeks, with two already ear-marked as singles. I wont need to say anymore because you've probably read it on NME.com already.

According to NME.com, the Manics flew into New York on Sunday to begin work on their seventh studio album with Bowie producer Tony Visconti.
